Big Hill Services

Big Hill Services became active  in 1986.  The company became involved in the hockey business; service of Olympia ice resurfacers in southern Alberta (Red Deer south).  In 1987 Big Hill Services was appointed as Service Representatives for (Saskatchewan, Alberta ) Olympia ice resurfacers can be and are licensed in British Columbia and Ontario for road usage but are not required to be licensed in Alberta.

In 1988 Big Hill Services started building hockey arena dasher board systems as well as doing renovations to all phases of the arena with the exception of refrigeration and the outer building.

In 1999 we were appointed as Sales Representatives for Olympia in southern Alberta.  In 2002 we were given all of Alberta and Saskatchewan, dropping our service of British Columbia.  In 2004 we set up a sub-dealer in Saskatchewan with an office and shop in Regina.  In 2005 we were recognized as the second largest dealer for Olympia, world wide, second only to the manufacturing plant in Ontario.  We have sold ice resurfacers to N.W.T., U.S. and New Zealand.

In 1999 we expanded into the arena supply business.  Big Hill Arena Supplies Ltd. sells plastic, flooring, ice paint, ice markings and other related items. --- 

In 2004 Big Hill Services was recognized by the Alberta Association of Recreation Facility Personnel for providing service, product, promotion and customer satisfaction.
