DASHER BOARD SYSTEMS
More commonly known as rink boards, these are an integral part of any arena ice surface.

At Big Hill Services, we pride ourselves on installing "Straight and True" highly playable
dasherboard systems, on-time, on-budget, and meeting and exceeding local,
State and Provincial safety standards.

Our proven designs and construction are straight and true, manufactured and installed by
arena professionals with over 25 years of cumulative experience.  Our board systems consist of
the highest quality tubular steel or aluminum frames, and are customized to your specifications.
We offer complete on-site construction, or pre-fabricated systems for delivery or install.
The high quality steel frame is covered with either ½" high density polyethylene or ¾" treated plywood
with a ¼" poly coating.  Both versions have a ¾" pebbled high-density poly top sill cap.
Kickplate is available in a choice of colours, and comes in ¼" or ½".

We can also help you generate extra revenue by fitting our dasher boards with Lexan advertising panels. The "glass" system features a 2 piece aluminum T-Slide post system that will accommodate 1/2" or 5/8" glass. Removal and replacement is fast and easy, so you won’t be called for "delay of game".  The posts are removable too, and no tools are required !!!

Our access gates feature handmade heavy-duty hardware of exceptional quality.  Our unique lift-off gate hinges are actually adjustable and can be lubricated for extra long life.  These exclusive "gravity" latches are of heavy -duty construction and can be opened with a gloved hand.  The latch body also acts as a gate overclose, and can be equipped with ice-side openers.  We also offer a wide variety of machine gates.
Manual gates come with heavy-duty continuous piano hinge, with easy center drop closures.  Electric remote overhead gates, and our exclusive selection of folding gates can also be utilized in your design.
Player, penalty and timer boxes feature complete interior finishing using 3/8^th inch poly.
The timers workstation is included, as are water bottle holders on the team benches.
